Tow Tuff brings you the TTF-08HD Heavy-Duty Universal Spare Tire Carrier - your solution for carrying a spare tire for your trailer. The Spare Tire Carrier is universal and attaches to the frame of your trailer. This Tow Tuff product is capable of holding a wide variety of spare tires with a weight capacity of 120 lbs. Tires 13” and larger with bolt hold patterns from 4 holes to 8 holes will fit easily onto this carrier, which gives you a versatile product. Constructed of welded, heavy-duty steel with a powder-coat finish, this tire carrier is durable and reliable. The overall weight of the carrier is 16 lbs. and measures 24.25” x 6” x 7”. Designed with a heavy-duty stiffener bar to handle heavy tires and rims. The mounting plate includes pre-drilled holes with matching hardware to make mounting easy. Installation is fast and easy with the bolt-on design and included zinc-plated mounting hardware, giving you more time to put your trailer to use. Optional TTF-ISCTC Ice Castle Bracket available (sold separately) for mounting your Spare Tire Carrier onto your Ice Castle.

  1. What is the vertical and horizontal offsets of this when mounted on a trailer?

    1. When mounting a 15” tire on a 3x5 trailer tongue - Horizontal, From the tongue to inside of the tire: 10-7/8 inches. Vertical, From the top of the tongue to the center of the 15 inch tire: 9-1/2 inches. Mount plate for tongue is 5.5 inches wide x 6.5 inches high. The Tire mount plate: 7 inches wide x 9.25 inches high. How the spare tire carrier is mounted and the tire size will make a difference as well.
