Product Summary

Buyers Products Stake Pocket Spare Tire Carrier gives the tire extra clearance 6-1/2in. out and 7-1/2in. up from stake pockets. It has three 5/8in. holes and three 1/2in. holes, and it includes 1/2in. and 9/16in. wheel studs with nuts to hold most 13in. and larger wheels and tires. The spare tire carrier is compatible with the following wheel bolt patterns: 5 lug on 4.5in., 5 lug on 5in., 6 lug on 5-1/2in., and 8 lug on 6-1/2in. Carrier fits most standard 3-1/2in. and 3-3/4in. stake pockets. It is constructed from durable steel with a black powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance and comes out of the box ready to install.

  2. How deep does the stake pocket must be.

    I see from the dimensions in the drawing its 2" or less. How much less is it or what is the exact size (depth & width) of the assembly that slips into the stack pocket?

    1. The part of the assembly that slips into the stake pocket is 3.47” wide, 2” deep and 2.63” high.
