    1. This will cut as thin as 1 inch. This works with any size chain.

  2. Do you have to drill the chainsaw bar to use this?

    1. There are two options to mount this to the chainsaw bar; use 3 screws to clamp the lumber cutting guide to your chainsaw bar or drill 2 holes in your chainsaw bar and use a bolt/nut combo to fasten it to your chainsaw bar.
