  1. Does this pump have a cast iron or stainless-steel impeller? My customer doesn't want a plastic impeller.

    1. The Superior Pump model 92151 does not have a stainless steel impeller. It features a thermoplastic vortex impeller.

    1. The pump is very quiet when it is submerged but will get a little louder as the water level goes down. The manufacturer described the pump at its loudest point like a vacuum running in the next room.

  5. Can this pump stay plugged in?

    I'm looking for a pump that will auto shut off/on as needed. Thanks!

    1. The float on this unit will shut the pump off when the water gets to a certain level. It will kick back on as well if the water rises.
