  1. Does it have swivel wheels?

    Does it have swivel wheels? If not, how is it steered with the steering rod?

    1. No swivel wheels. It turns with the steering rod but it takes some force.

    4. It does not have swivel wheels, but the top disk does swivel, so you just tap the front or back of the roller carriage, to turn the roller units.

    5. The wheels on this Strongway machinery mover do not swivel. The mover will spin on itself when you use the steering arm to maneuver through turns and around corners. Please see my recommendation below for the steering arm, item 52437.

  2. How do they work on carpeted area

    How well do they work on a carpeted area and going from different surfaces?

    1. Unless the load on the skates is minimal, they are not suited for moves on carpet. You will want to lay down Masonite or plywood & create a smooth surface to travel on.

    1. Heavy duty plastic material and very durable
