  1. Why is lead mentioned in the Proposition 65 warning? I don't see other brands' blankets or clothes ever listing lead so it would help to understand how lead is getting on these blankets.

    1. The State of California requires that this label, or a similar warning, be included on all products sold within the state. These blankets are made from polyester and fabric blends; however, we include the warning on this item because it could potentially be shipped to California.

    1. These blankets have a polyester outside with a mix of cotton and poly filler, which voids any claims of fire or flame resistance.

  3. Can this be used as a mattress cover under sheets?

    1. Using this moving blanket in place of a mattress cover would be up to the user. Keep in mind it is not recommended to machine wash the blanket or expose it to moisture.

  4. I bought these to cover a very expesive cloth material sofa for moving. I am worried about the blue color bleeding on the sofa if stored for several months to a year in a waterproof pod container . Would it bleed if humidity was in the air?

    1. Because all moving blankets are filled with a mixed color filler, they are not designed for high moisture or high humidity closed environments for a long period of time. While this model has an outer non-woven fabric that is not prone to color bleeding, we would advise that items are wrapped in plastic or some type of moisture barrier product first, if the item will be exposed to moisture.

    1. It is not recommended to machine wash this moving blanket. The outer surface can be wiped clean.
