Mounts directly onto shop cranes and features a slow release function while providing a long 24in.–42-15/16in. lift range. 100% factory vertical load tested for reliability and safety. The Strongway 8-Ton Long Ram Hydraulic Jack is for vertical use only. Meets ASME PALD 2009 standard.

    2. No, we drilled our own. It is a soft cast on the bottom. Drilling was quick and easy.

  2. Can I use this jack to jack up a farm tractor(6800-8500lbs)? Is there a cradle attachment for the top of the cylinder? Thanks!

    1. This jack is intended to be used as a replacement for cranes, hoists and other similar applications. It does have the capacity to support 6800-8500 lbs.; however, there is no cradle attachment for the top of this cylinder to provide a safe platform for this application.

  6. Can the ram on this jack be drilled, so a pin or bolt can be installed to prevent ram from collapsing completely if pressure is lost?

    1. The ram on this jack cannot be drilled. Doing so could weaken the structural integrity of the ram and be a safety hazard. It would also void the warranty.

  8. What is the diameter of the shaft/contact point?

    Due to surface irregularities in the item we are intending to lift, we would like to fabricate a custom lifting cradle to slip on the end on the piston shaft.
