Features such as the 9/64in., anti-twist cable, long cords, hand-held control, and powerful, yet safe, motor ensure the safety of operators and add convenience to your lifting experience. The powerful, 1 1/4 HP motor has a built-in thermal protection to prevent overheating, but also has a 10-minute duty cycle and its gears are constructed of 45-lb. steel for amazing strength that you can count on. In addition, the motor has a metal cover that protects the motor. This Electric Hoist has a compact design and weighs only 37 lbs so that you can take it to where the job is. The dual capacities make this hoist even more versatile as this hoist can be fitted with a double line to increase the weight capacity. With a single line the capacity of this unit is 440 lbs, but a double line gives this unit a greater capacity of 880 lbs! The 39ft. cable, that lifts to 36ft. (single line) and 18ft. (double line), is long and durable enough to aid you with a wide variety of lifting tasks. The hand-held control even has a long cord of 5ft. long to ensure that the operator is a safe distance from the lifting process. While the hoist does require power to operate, it holds the load, wherever the load may be, without needing power, adding yet another safety feature to this Electric Hoist. Other safety features include the brake, to stop loads suddenly, and the height limit switch.   1. can it be mounted to a trolly system on a I-Beam ?

    1. This hoist is designed to be attached to a beam or steel pipe and the base securely held in place by both of the hanger brackets. It is not designed to be mounted on a trolley.
