    1. To adjust the float you would need to physically reposition the tether point on the float switch cord. This will allow you to set the water level you want the float to activate and deactivate at. You would raise or lower the attachment point of the cord on the pump body.

    1. This sump pump must be installed in a suitable gas-tight basin that is at least 18" in diameter and 24" deep, and vented in accordance with local plumbing codes.
