This RDS Fuel Transfer Tank/Toolbox Combo with 8 GPM Pump is DOT Approved for transferring diesel fuel, gasoline or aviation fuel from the bed of a pickup to automobiles, heavy equipment, boats, 4-wheelers, generators, or anything else requiring fuel that you may have. Enjoy the convenience of a gas station that goes where you go. A 12V transfer pump is included and installed. A toolbox is also built in for extra storage. This aluminum fuel tank does not rust, which protects fuel from contamination. This tank can also be used as a diesel auxiliary tank when used in conjunction with the optional Diesel Install Kit (Item#s 43748, 3490901 and 3490902, sold separately). It is the user's responsibility to comply with local, state and federal requirements pertaining to safe transportation, loading and discharging tank contents.

  1. Model# 74724 specs show exterior dimensions at 48"L x 20"W same as the toolbox dimensions. Can you verify and confirm dimensions of overall exterior dimensions please?

    1. The overall dimensions of the combo is 48" L x 20" W. The fuel tank is 12-3/4" H x 48" L x 20" W. The toolbox is 10" H x 37" L x 20" W.

  2. Is there enough room inside the pump area for a fuel filter to be installed?

    1. The dimensions for the compartment for the fuel pump is 20" L (front to back) x 11" W (side to side) x 10" H. It would depend on the size of the fuel filter, if it would fit inside.

  7. CAN IT BE INSTALL IN A TRUCK WITH A PLASTIC BED LINER I PLAN ON USING IT FOR GASOLINE

    1. Yes, you would just need to drill a mounting hole through the bed liner to the bed of the truck. Check underneath the bed to insure the desired tab location does not interfere with wiring or hoses.
