Product Summary

The RDS Fuel Transfer Tank/Toolbox Combo is designed for transferring diesel fuel, gasoline or aviation fuel from the bed of a pickup to automobiles, heavy equipment, boats, 4-wheelers, generators, or anything else requiring fuel that you may have. Enjoy the convenience of a gas station that goes where you go. A toolbox is also built in for extra storage. DOT approved aluminum fuel tanks do not rust, which protects fuel from contamination. The tank can also be used as an auxiliary unit to provide additional capacity for a diesel factory tank with the use of an RDS diesel install kit (Item#s 3490901, 3490902 and 43748, sold separately). Diesel install kits will work with any RDS tank with a drain fitting. Auxiliary tank function is for use with diesel fuel only and is not for use with gasoline, which cannot be gravity-fed. It is the user's responsibility to comply with local, state and federal requirements pertaining to safe transportation, loading and discharging tank contents.

    1. The overall dimensions of the transfer tank are 57" L X 20" W X 22.75" H.

  2. I have a GPI M-150/150S diesel transfer pump. The fuel nozzle is on the right side. Will this transfer pump fit on the RDS 71925 tank with the nozzle on the toolbox side, allowing enough dimension for the fuel nozzle to clear the toolbox?

    1. To mount your GPI pump to the fuel tank you would need a spin collar adapter. This would allow you to mount it without having to turn the pump. This would be available through GPI.

  3. Can this tank be used on gas engine connecting to factory fuel lines

    1. This cannot be used as an auxiliary tank for gasoline. The auxiliary tank function is for diesel only.

  4. Can this tank connect to factory fuel lines like some of the other models

    1. This tank can be used with an auxiliary conversion kit to gravity feed diesel into your truck's tank. Please see our item #3490901, #3490902, or #43748 for auxiliary conversion kits that can be used.

    1. This transfer tank does not include a pump. Please see our item #360581 or #114306 for two options that could be installed on this tank.
