This RDS Manufacturing heavy-duty aluminum tank is rugged and rustproof, featuring heavy-gauge .190 aluminum construction and is suitable for diesel fuel only. Tank is not DOT-approved; User is responsible for complying with all local, state and federal requirements pertaining to the loading and discharging of tank contents. Note: This smooth mil finished tank may have some scratch marks, which is normal and unavoidable with this finish type.

  8. Is this tank built "farm tough"?  I need it to withstand rough washboard roads and a tough environment that can handle a heavy 25 gpm pump bouncing on top of the 2" fitting. Thanks

  9. What are the NPT fitting sizes on top of tank? I see two small ones on drawing but not on pic.

    1. The vent fitting is 1/2" pipe thread, the fitting next to that is 3/8" pipe thread, and the pump fitting is 2" pipe thread.

  10. how large or what size is the drain plug.

    the reason why i ask, my project is where we hookup two of these together but just pump from one so the drain needs to be at least 3/4 in size.

    1. This RDS fuel tank has a 3/8" drain. At this time, Northern Tool does not have any 200 gallon auxiliary fuel tanks with a 3/4" drain.
