Product Summary

General-purpose tank offers expanded fuel capacity and extended run time for boats, generators, pressure washers or other specialty applications using gas or diesel fuel. Works perfectly for pontoon boats and can be bolted to pontoon for permanent use. Designed for exterior areas. U.S.A.
It is the user's responsibility to comply with local, state and federal requirements pertaining to safe transportation, loading and discharging of tank contents. Unit has no drain plug. Note: This smooth mil finished tank may have some scratch marks, which is normal and unavoidable with this finish type.

  5. gas hose fitting adapter

    running a 3/8" gas hose to it so I need a 3/8" barb but what size npt male fitting?

    1. This tank is equipped with 1/4 inch female NPT outlets. A 1/4 inch male with 3/8 inch hose barb adapter is unavailable from Northern Tool.

  6. Sending unit details?

    I see this is set up for a remote fuel gauge sending unit. What are the mounting details? Diameter of the bolt circle? Diameter of the hole into which the sending unit will be inserted? Are there 5 holes to mount it? What size holes for the fasteners?

    1. The measurement from the center of one mounting hole to the center of the mounting hole on the same tab is 4". The center of the mounting hole from one side of the tank to the tab on the other side is 25 1/2". The diameter of the mounting hole is 1/4". The sending unit is inserted into a 1.5" hole. There are 5 bolts for mounting. The size of the screws needed are #10-24 x 3/4" long.

  7. I am planning on mounting this tank in my enclosed trailer to feed 2 pressure washers. Is it safe for me to install in an enclosed trailer?

    1. The tank could not be installed in an enclosed trailer. It would emit fumes that would be hazardous.

  8. Fuel Pickup.......

    Which one of the two fittings on top is for fuel pickup? What is the other fitting for?

    1. The two fittings are both 1/4in FPT aluminum outlet fittings with nylon tubes. The inlet fitting is a 2-in. with gauge cap combo vented fitting.

    1. This tank will accomodate gasoline or diesel fuel.

  10. Do you have offer a cap that is not vented?

    I want to use the tank for oil and would like to be able to pressurize the return line and force oil out the supply line.
