Product Summary

Combining fully automatic operation and the ability to properly charge multiple battery types, the PRO-LOGIX PL2140 is the perfect battery maintainer to manage all of the batteries in your life. You could buy several products to do everything this one does — but why would you? This charger is intelligent, beneficial, safe and versatile. One charger does it all, from periodic charging and battery repair to battery maintenance and long-term storage charging. It is ideal for everything from ATVs and motorcycles to cars, trucks, commercial vehicles and boats. Providing the ability to properly charge virtually any lead acid battery type, this is the only charger you will need. The PL2140 will efficiently and effectively charge flooded, AGM and spiral wound batteries as well as marine, deep cycle and LiFePO4 batteries. A well-laid out control panel makes this machine a cinch to use. Simply select the voltage, battery type and charge. This unit will do the rest, effortlessly and efficiently charging and maintaining batteries. Besides charging low batteries, the PL2140 product can be used as to maintain a battery in storage. If it detects battery sulfation, the charger can also go into battery recondition mode to rejuvenate a battery. The PL2140 adds a special Recovery Mode feature, which allows the operator to determine how the charger reacts to power outages. Setting Recovery Mode to “on” allows the charger to automatically resume charging after a power outage, eliminating the need to reset the charger. It’s smart to be safe, so naturally this intelligent unit comes with plenty of safety features. These include smart clamp technology that will only send power to the output leads when a proper connection is made with a battery. In addition, this unit has protections against reverse polarity connections, battery faults, short circuits and over-voltage conditions.

  1. How do you know battery is charging

    1. When charging the charge light on the left will illuminate. When the battery approaches full charge and enters the completion phase the green charging complete indicator will light and the charging in progress indicator light will flash. When the green charging light is a steady green, the battery is fully charged.
