  1. Can this charger be applied while the battery is still installed in the vehicle/equipment?

    2. It is not necessary to remove the battery from the vehicle or equipment being charged. A spark near the battery could cause battery explosion. Be sure to position the cables to reduce the risk of damage by the hood, door, and moving or hot engine parts.

  2. will this charger charge a completely dead 12 volt car battery?

    1. Provided the battery does not have a dead cell, this charger can charge a dead battery. If the battery has a dead cell then the battery must be replaced irregardless of the charger used.

    1. This speed charger can only be used to charge one battery at a time.

  4. Is this product compatible with european voltage?

    I am ordering this product from Europe and i wonder if i will be able to use it on the european voltage which is 220V.

    1. This charger operates on US specs of 60Hz and 120volts.

  5. If it is charging at 10 A will it drop to 6 then 2 as it is charged

    1. Yes, this charger is designed to automatically adjust the charge rate as the battery reaches a full charge. All charging modes will decrease the charge rate as the battery approaches maximum charge. This process is done with the internal microprocessor and will not switch one step at time from 10 to 6 to 2 amp. Rather the machine will continuously vary the charge rate between 10 and 2 amps to ensure that the battery is charged the fastest way possible without causing harm to the battery.
