  1. What is the current draw at 115 volts on this motor?

    1. The amperage draw at 115 volt is 22 amps. At 230 volt it is 11 amps.

  2. I assume the on/off switch will be tied to the hard wire being have a switch? What gauge wire and is a ground needed? Can a plug be used?

    1. The manufacturer does recommend that the pump be hardwired. It is recommended to use 12 gauge wire with a 20 amp breaker. The wiring will need to be grounded. It can be wired with plug if meets the specifications needed.
