  1. What is the maximum capacity of this motor to lift a load? My dump truck usually carries loads of 4-6 tons. Can it lift it with no issues?

    1. The weight capacity is determined by the hydraulic system the power unit is used with. This unit can generate up to 3,000 maximum RPM and up to 1.5 GPM. Please check the requirements of the hydraulic system.

  2. does this operate two separate circiuts?

    1. This power unit is designed for use with a double-acting cylinder which means it can provide power for raising and lowering the cylinder. It does not operate two separate circuits.

  3. if it takes 15 secs to extend and then 15 seconds to pull, will it only do this twice? before needing to "cool"

    1. To prevent the unit from overheating, allowing it to cool would be recommended.

  4. can I install a 600 psi relief valve intead of the 3000 psi relief?

    1. The parts needed for a 600 PSI relief valve would be available through the manufacturer directly as a separate purchase. Northern Tool not not currently offer this as an option for this unit.

    1. This power unit has a load hold feature. It does not have a float option.

  6. Are there bolts on back to attach unit?

    1. At the bottom of the aluminum adapter there are two 3/8"-16 bolt holes which are 14 mm deep. You will need two bolts to attach it.

    1. This power unit includes a remote that is 20' 7" long. This length also includes the length of remote control box/unit.

  10. What is the Duty cycle for this Unity.

    The trailer I'm using this on, has two cylinders, (3 in. with 18" travel), just wanted to make sure it could fully extend cylinders with out overheating.

    1. This dump trailer pump has a 10% duty cycle. The motor can run for one minute then needs to cool for nine minutes.
