This NorTrac 12 Volt DC Single-Acting Power Unit can be used for OEM or replacement applications. The power up, gravity down circuit allows for fast lifting and lowering. Ideal for use with fork lifts, electric pallet trucks, scissor lift tables, mini lift tables, dump trucks/trailers or a variety of other applications utilizing remote pendant controls (not for use with bale spike power units).

    1. The lift capacity will depend on the hydraulic system this unit is used with. It can deliver up to 3,000 RPM with a 1.5 GPM flow rate.

    1. The power unit is designed for horizontal mounting applications only.

  3. What oil is recommended for this unit.

    1. This unit uses N46, ISO 46 & 32 Hydraulic oils with a viscosity between 15-68 Centistoke.

      The manufacturer recommends using a premium hydraulic oil to ensure optimum performance and
      system life. Select oil that has anti-wear properties, rust and oxidation inhibitors, foam inhibitors and good stability. Examples of premium grade hydraulic oils: Chevron Rando HDZ, Mobil DTE 10, DTE 20 series, AMSOIL, and Shell Tellus.

      Automotive Transmission Oils are acceptable under normal conditions.

      Aviation Oils such as Valvoline ROYCO series or Mobil Aero HF or HFA may be used
      in prolonged, extreme cold environments.

      Do Not Use Biodegradable Hydraulic Fluid. Do Not Mix Oils.

  7. So the unit comes with a red plastic plug and below that comes with a steel plug, so I take it the red plug is pressure so is the plug below for return?

    1. A 12 Volt, deep cycle battery would be recommended for this power unit. This power unit has a 133 Amp draw.

  9. Outlet ports are labeled P2 and T.  Does it matter which of these ports I attach the hose to?

    1. Ports labeled with P are a high-pressure input ports. Ports labeled with a T are for low pressure return to the tank.
