  1. Can the spray nozzle be changed for 360 deg, fan, shower, etc

    Would the use of a different nozzle restrict flow and decrease the GPM to less than 11? If pressure is reduced on pump control, with standard nozzle attached will this reduce GPM?

    1. Everything is variable since you can adjust engine rpm and line pressure. 30-40 psi and the engine at maybe 1/4 throttle gets about 2-2.2 gpm out of the included gun. I added a quick coupler to the hose so that I can quickly interchange Guns depending on what I'm doing and the gun will definitely affect the flow.

    2. The nozzle can be changed to a garden nozzle with multiple spray patterns. Different spray patterns will reduce the GPM. The different settings will also reduce the GPM.

  2. Can this sprayer be used for hydro seeding? If so can it agitate at the same time it sprays?

    1. I personally would not attempt hydroseeding. This unit is in no way built for that task. Plus even if it worked it would take you 3-4 days to do an acre. A tow behind seeder will push about 50-70 gpm and is designed to pump solids.

    2. This sprayer is designed for spaying liquid chemicals. It cannot be used for hydro seeding.

  3. Does the hose have "quick disconnect" couplers?

    1. No, it has a barbed fitting on the gun. But adding a quick coupler would be very easy to do.

  4. We are looking for a sprayer for a farm application to kill an infestation of scotch thistles. Can I use 2, 4-D herbicides in this sprayer? Also what is thw weight of a fully loaded sprayer. My truck is a 1/2 ton. 

    1. Yes you can use 2-4-D in this sprayer. The sprayer weighs 550 ponds empty, and almost 2200 pounds when it is full.

    2. Generally, as long as the chemicals are not corrosive, petroleum based, or viscous they should be fine. If you would need more specific chemical compatibility you would need to contact the manufacturer direct. The weight with fluids and accessories would be 2100 pounds.

  5. this skid sprayer shows a manual rewind reel but the manual shows an electric, battery operated rewind wheel-what kind of reel does this come with?

    1. It is electric, but you can wind it up manually. It comes with a handle to wind it and a wiring diagram to hook it up to a battery.

    1. The forks would need to measure a minimum of 38-1/4"L to lift the skid sprayer. The sprayer can only be lifted from the heavy end.
