The NorthStar E420 EFI OHV Horizontal Engine is designed for the most demanding applications. This 1,000-hour engine provides enough power to run a wide range of equipment, including pressure washers, compressors, log splitters and chipper/shredders. It runs head-to-head in reliability and durability when compared to brands such as Honda and Kohler, all while incorporating EFI technology most competing brands don't offer. Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) allows for fuel efficiency, easy starting in all weather conditions and eliminates common carburetor complications. The NorthStar engine is reliable, easy starting and meets EPA emission level standards across 49 states. Each engine undergoes thorough U.S.-based testing to ensure exceptional reliability and includes dedicated customer/tech support to help make it an incredible value. Patent Protected.     1. The idle speed is preset and should not be adjusted. Modifications to the engine would void the warranty.
