  1. At 5.5 GPM and a 26 gal tank, will the spray only last approx 5 mins at 100% duty cycle?

    1. Technically yes. If you have both booms wide open and are riding along using the hand sprayer the tank can empty quickly. I found that you can adjust the valves on the boom sprayers back to half the flow and still maintain a straight out spray. You will hear the motor cut back considerably. I fould I could get around 10 minutes at that rate and still be happy with the coverage. I just increased my mixture of chemical from 1 1/2 % to 2 %.

  2. Is the boom spray width adjustable?

    1. Somewhat, you have to adjust the angle of the nozzles. My husband originally placed mine level, which does make for a wide pattern but the spray is sparse. I tipped them downward to lessen the width of the pattern but to get a more concentrated spray.

  4. Tank Cleaner

    What tank cleaner do you recommend after applying one chemical and then needing to apply a different chemical?
    I.e. 1st spray Round up then need to use the sprayer in a different application such as 2 4 D or Trimec?

    1. RINSE OUT WITH FULL TANK OR 2 OF WATER

    2. Flush the sprayer according to the chemical manufacturer’s recommendation. On page 31 of the owner’s manual there is also a general procedure for cleaning the tank. Any chemical will leave some residual in the tank liner or sprayer components, even after the sprayer has been properly cleaned.

  5. Could this sprayer be used in the back of a side by side utility vehicle?

    1. Yes

    2. This sprayer can be used in the back of a utility vehicle. It needs to be secured with the straps or by bolting it to the bed. There are four 5/16”-18 bottom mounting holes on the bottom of the tank.

  6. 12 Volt cigarette lighter adapter available?

    Battery is hard to get to adapter to plug in would be easier?

    1. I have adapted mine to plug into the cigarette/auxiliary power connection on my artic cat. Just have to make sure the plug in has the proper fuse in it as the pump does draw some starting power.

  7. I would be using a gator or 3 wheeled bunker rake for the spraying, how difficult is it to attach the assembly to hold the spray attachemnt to either

    2. It should not be difficult at all. There would need to be a flat place to sit the tank and bungee it down. The broadcast mounting kit would mount to the pin hitch on the gator or bunker rake. Then just run the wiring harness up to the battery.

  8. What is the difference in a 5.5 GPM and a 2.2GPM?

    1. The flow rate and operating pressure of the supplied pumps.

    2. The pump is pumping out 5.5 gallons per minute of liquid 60 PSI. It gives you more volume at a lower PSI than the 2.2 gallon per minute. The 2.2 gallon per minute pump has a little higher pressure, so you get more force but less volume.

  9. Could this sprayer be placed in/on a tow behind garden trailer and be pulled behind a tractor or mower?

    2. This broadcast and spot sprayer can be placed on a tow behind trailer. The sprayer comes with a 72" cable for hookup to the 12 volt battery of the tractor or mower.

  10. how do you adjust the pressure on pump

    1. Ron , The pump is non adjustable. The gauge is for monitoring condition of the pump output.

    2. The output pressure is not adjustable for the pump. The pressure is determined by the orifice size of the nozzles that are used.
