Will all 5 panels turn on at once
So when the thermostat turns the unit on do all 5 panels come on at once for a set amount of time or can you set the control to only let a certain number of panels light like 1,2 or 3 etc, etc.

Exactly where is the propane inlet located on this heater?

There is a 3/8" female NPT connection under the heater. I used a 90 degree fitting to connect to the hose that goes to my propane tank.

On the bottom of the unit, near the right side, inside where the foot would mount. 3/8" standard female pipe thread.
Recommend that at least 3 wraps of Teflon tape be on the connecting nipple, good and snug tightening. Do not over tighten.Helpful?

This heater does not include a regulator or hose. These must be purchased separately. Item number 25819 is a 2-stage regulator. The hose is not available from Northern Tool.

It doesn't have temperature. It has 1,2,3,4,5. You have to watch your themometer and adjust. You'll learn where it needs to be.

The blue flame would be optimal for your application. keep in mind when deciding which size you would want, that the 30,000 BTU model is capable of heating upwards of 750 square feet.

A radiant type of heater will warm up objects in a room, whereas a blue flame heater will heat the air. For a greenhouse type of setting I would recommend going with the blue flame heater. I will list the 30,000 BTU blue flame heater below.

Well that will depend on how high the setting is , the temperature outside, how well the home is insulated. There are a few factors needed to answer that correctly.

30 to 60 days depending on space and temp. I burn 1-2 gallons a day with 400sq ft heat, hot water, fridge and cooking. Four pounds to the gallon for propane so 62.5 gallons in a 250 lbs tank.

Can this heater be mounted upside down, hang it from the ceiling,? so the controls are on the bottom.

It absolutely cannot be mounted upside down. The heater is designed to bring the heat up and away from the heater. If upside down, if it even will burn all the plaques completely, the heat will be drawn by a natural rise and create an unsafe condition to the components at the bottom where the gas in entering the burner.

This heater cannot be hung from a ceiling. It also cannot be mounted upside down. It must be wall mounted or it can be placed on the floor with the included legs.
