This Mr. Heater Vent-Free Natural Gas Radiant Wall Heater heats 1000 sq.ft. and can be wall mounted or secured to the floor wiht the feet (included) and is the perfect choice when you want instant, targeted heat. Infrared radiant heat delivers quick, sun-like warmth directly to you and objects in your room rather than simply warming the air. This heater is an efficient and effective solution for staying warm in rooms with high ceilings or excessive drafts. No venting, chimney or electricity is required, making this heater perfect for power outages. Plus, the multi-output valve assures easy temperature regulation. Convenient piezo ignition provides simple, reliable operation. For peace of mind, this heater comes equipped with an automatic low oxygen shutoff system. Add the optional blower, Item# 52571 (sold separately), to help circulate warmth more quickly and efficiently. Check your gas line pressure before connecting heater to gas line. Gas line pressure must be between 7in.and 10in. of water. Not for sale in CA or Canada. Use in accordance with local codes and ordinances.

  1. Will built in thermostat turn off optional blower

    I understand the built in thermostat will control the heat output if target heat setting is reached but will the optional blower if installed be also turned off by the thermostat if the heat setting target is reached ?

    1. The optional blower has an automatic and manual setting.

    2. Blower works on a thermal switch. Fan will turn on after it warms up a bit, a few minutes. Fan will also continue to run after burner turns off, until the sensor cools a bit.

  2. Where is the connection for the gas line?

    The existing gas line is on the what will be the right hand side of the heater.

    1. If you are facing the heater, the connection for the gas line is on the lower right hand corner.

    2. The gas inlet on the heater is on the bottom right hand side.. u will probably b plumbing it with a flexible gas line..they work very well with gas heaters..and they also give u extra length..to make up the difference when replacing older ones..

    It looks like the blower is mounted to the rear of the unit.

    1. Yes easy to install....in rear of heater..so it can blow heat forward...

    1. The heater does not offer a conversion kit. The propane version is item 52561.

    What is the 4500 feet " high altitude restriction{"?

    1. Thank you for your inquiry. Due to the oxygen depletion system, this unit may not work at altitudes higher than 4500 feet.

    1. If the heater is producing a noise when burning, you will want to clean the burning orfice per the cleaning and maintenance instructions in the manual.
