Will this 5' hose work with 30 lb or 40 lb tanks?
I specifically want to use a rubber-type hose because I am storing the 30 lb propane tank under a table, and when moving 20 lb propane tanks in the past I have found that a flexible rubber hose is easier/more convenient to move. I just asked about the 40 lb tanks for future reference- personally I think a fully filled 40 lb tank is a haste to move after filling because the propane tank handle does not support the weight in your hand very well and because the tank hits your leg harder because of the extra weight and because of the odd elongated shape.

Yes, this hose will work properly with a 30 or 40 lb tank, but I would like to inform you that any tank, 20 lbs or larger are illegal to keep/ operate indoors in accordance with Federal regulations, so in order to accommodate this regulation, you may need to purchase a longer hose.
