    1. The unit does not have an on/off or toggle switch. The only reason for this is simply the manufacturer decided it was not a needed feature.

  2. do i need to buy a spool gun separte to weld aluminum

    1. There is not a spool gun available for this Maxus welder. To weld aluminum you would use .035 wire to prevent "birdnest" when welding.

    1. The manufacture states the warranty as 5-3-1. That means 5 years for the transformer and rectifier, 3 years on the Entire Welder (excluding clamps, welding gun, electrode holder, cables, or accessories packed with welder), and 1 year for the Welding Clamps, MIG Gun, Electrode Holder, Accessories, and Welding Cables. This welder is made in China.
