Product Summary

This 60-gal. capacity Master MFG Over-the-Tailgate Spot and Broadcast Sprayer helps you cover more ground with a heavy-duty, 7-nozzle boom that can spray up to 12ft., while being foldable to prevent damage from trees and other obstacles when spraying. The boom mount can be easily adjusted up or down and even tilted for easy access to the tailgate. Adjustable rubber stoppers on the sprayer frame provide a nice, snug fit to minimize sprayer movement in the UTV bed. Also includes an adjustable deluxe pistol grip spray gun that can reach distances up to 25ft. vertically and 30ft. horizontally. Comes complete with 15ft.L rubber hose, 5in. fill lid with tether, molded-in drain cap, and 12V connection cables.

  1. Is the length from side to side as shown in the pictures? Or from tailgate to cab?

    1. The length of the sprayer will be 42 inches from side to side. The width from front to back will be 27".

  2. Is there a agitator built into the tank or it components?  That is can you pump into the tank to mix up the chemicals

    1. The sprayer does not have a built in agitator. The liquid that does not get used when spraying will flow back into the tank through the pump that sort of acts as an agitator to keep the fluid mixed.

  3. Could this boom be used with a pickup tailgate?

    1. This sprayer can be used in the bed of a pickup; however, there is no guarantee that it folds over the tailgate. It is designed for mounting in a UTV bed. The sprayer can be strapped down to the pickup truck for use.

  4. What is the average acreage per tank?

    1. This 60 gallon deluxe UTV broadcast sprayer is designed to handle up to almost 7 acres* of coverage in one sitting, making it ideal for spraying large estates, pastures or fields with a UTV (side-by-side).

      *Acreage coverage is based on running spraying application at 30 PSI while maintaining speed at 6 MPH.

    1. The tank measures 18" W at the bottom and 24" W at the top. The length of the tank is 36". The height overall height of the tank is 24.5".

  7. Are the spray arms capable of spraying while folded up?  We have rows of tomato plants and would like to spray from the ground up to about 6 feet.  If not is there another product you recommend?  Thank you

    1. The boom arms will spray when left folded up.

  8. This product comes with a 2.2 GPM Everflo pump. Is there a way to install a larger Everflo pump such as a 4 GPM Everflo pump on this unit? Do the brackets and screw holes match up so I don’t have to drill new holes in the tank? Thanks

    1. You could replace the Everflo 2.2 GPM pump with an Everflo 4 GPM pump. The mounting brackets and screw holes would match up. Northern Tool does not carry this pump.

  9. Can you turn off nozzles to if you want to spray a smaller swath?

    1. The whole boom can be shut off for using the spot sprayer. The nozzles on the boom cannot be shut off individually.
