  2. Does this unit have a manual throttle control lever ? Can't see it on the picture. Please advise. On the 25Hp unit we have the throttle control and choke is in the front as well as the key start slot. We need to be able to control the rpm's manually.

  4. will this engine run without a battery

    1. This engine does require a 12 volt power source to operate the starter. There is no recoil backup for starting. Once it has been started the 12 volt power source would no longer be required to keep it running.
