The Klutch Inverter Welder/Generator with Spool Gun features advanced inverter technology to provide smooth DC weld arc performance. This design includes MIG/flux-core/TIG/stick functions. Synergic MIG functions make machine setup easier. Infinite wire-feed speed and voltage adjustment contributes to smooth DC welding performance. Inductance adjustment is designed for hard-soft weld arc performance. The digital display allows easy reading. The spool gun connects for MIG/flux-core welding. The 78V no-loading voltage design is available for cellulose electrodes. This unit includes auxiliary power supply, rated output power of 6kW and max. output power 7kW. The start is electric/manual. The 5-gallon fuel tank allows for up to 5 hours of run time. 120/240V auxiliary power includes 1 set of 120V GFCI receptacles and (1) 240V 4-pin receptacle. The circuit breaker protects the machine from overloading. Folding handle and wheels allow easier transportation. 4 lifting eyes allow easy lifting and hanging. Also features a duty cycle of 30% @ 195A plus an amperage range adjustment of 30–195A. This unit welds a wide variety of materials up to 3/8in. including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, hard surfacing and aluminum. Includes 20ft. spool gun, 20ft. grounding cable with clamp, 20ft. welding cable with electrode holder, 10ft. gas hose and gas regulator. CSA and EPA approved.

    1. This welder is compatible with 6010, 6011, 6013, 7018, and 7024 rods. However, 6010 rods will burn faster during use.

  4. What type oil and gasoline do you use in this machine?

    1. SAE 10W-30 oil is recommended for general use. An 87 octane or higher unleaded gasoline should be used.

    1. At this time, we do not have a TIG torch available for this machine. It will accept a TIG torch with 35-70 twist lock connections.

  6. does it have hot start function for stick welding?

    1. This welder does not have a hot start function for stick welding. The welder has an infinite current control and with the amperage output there is no need for a hot start function.

  7. The manual states it can use flux core wire without gas. Is this correct and also what size of spool can the spool gun handle?

    1. Self-shielded flux core wire does not require gas since it contains a flux in its core that creates a protective gas and slag layer as it burns. The spool gun will hold a 4" diameter spool of wire.
