The 14.4 sq. in. viewing area gives you a full view of the welding area to enhance operator control. This helmet includes 4 arc sensors and is designed for TIG, MIG, MMA and plasma applications with a grinding feature. Adjustable ratcheting headgear is padded for comfort.

    1. Klutch/Northern tool offers a multipack of lenses for this helmet. I believe I paid $9.99 for a pack of three or 4 of each of the clear lenses.

    2. At this time, we do not offer any replacement lenses for this welding helmet. It does not include replacement lenses.

  3. how do you change the battery?

    1. Slide the battery cover upward and remove it. On the underside of the cover, you will find a small battery removal pin. Use this pin to remove the batteries. After removing the old batteries, install the new ones. Return the pin to its holder on the battery cover, then reinstall the cover securely.

  10. The Klutch® MonsterView® 1400 Auto-Dark Welding Helmet has a “Replaceable coin cell battery CR2450”. The CR2450 has a terminal voltage of 3.0 volts. Can a LIR2450 battery, with a terminal voltage of 3.7 volts, be safely used without damaging the helmet?

    1. Although an LIR2450 battery is similar to the CR2450 battery, it is not recommended for use in this helmet.
