The Klutch® MonsterView® 2700 Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet with Grind Mode and True Color Technology upgrade improves visibility and reduces eye strain by minimizing the traditional lime green coloring in the helmet view screen. The 27.3 sq. in. viewing area gives you a full view of the welding area to enhance operator control. This helmet includes 5 arc sensors and is designed for TIG, MIG, MMA and plasma applications with a grinding feature. Adjustable ratcheting headgear is padded for comfort.

    1. The sensitivity and shade level should be set based on the welding type, the brightness of the arc and the comfort level of the user.

    1. The suggested welding shades for this application will be from 10-13. The lens will adjust from shades 3-14. The welding helmet will work for this application.

  7. How do you change the battery. The documentation that came with the helmet doesn’t provide enough detail and the picture is too small. It also say to “use the battery remover”, but I don’t see a battery remover

    1. Push up and open the battery cover. On the underside of the battery cover there is a small battery remover pin. Use the battery remover pin to remove the batteries. Once the batteries are removed, install the new batteries. Place the pin back in the cover and install the cover in place.
