The Klutch MonsterView Panoramic 2200 Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet features True Color Technology that improves visibility and reduces eye strain by minimizing the traditional lime green coloring in the helmet view screen. The 21.5 sq. in. viewing area with DIN5 non-auto-darkening side view gives you a full view of the welding area, enhancing operator control. This helmet includes 4 arc sensors and is designed for TIG, MIG, MMA and plasma applications with a grinding feature. Adjustable ratcheting headgear is padded for comfort.

  3. How do you operate the variable shade adjustment on the 2200 monster View, is it the external knob? What's all the different brackets in ranges and Etc? When I use the press to test button for darkening, I can see right through it, I'll be blind using it

    1. The variable shade adjustment is external and has a stepless speed regulation, meaning it is variable. The sensitivity control is internal and has a stepless speed regulation as well.

  4. Does it take batteries?if so where do I put them

    1. The welding helmet uses a replaceable coin cell CR2450 battery. You will need to remove the internal lens/battery compartment. At the top of the lens, above the adjustment there will be a clip that you push to pop up the battery compartment. You then can replace the battery and reinsert the battery compartment. Then install the lens/battery compartment back into the helmet.
