This 120 Volt Klutch Multi-Process MIG Welder is a versatile, professional-grade inverter-based welder built to handle industrial and commercial tasks including MIG, Flux-Core, DC Stick, and DC TIG welding. The inverter-based system offers increased power output from a smaller transformer, resulting in a super-lightweight system that weighs up to 50% less than comparably powered traditional models. Features a spot timer for consistent spot welds. Welder is CSA Approved.

  1. Can you weld aluminum with it without a spool gun?

    And what aluminum wire would you recommend .
    Also can you use a foot petal with the tig gun ?

    1. A Klutch Spool Gun Kit would be required to weld aluminum. Northern Tool item numbers 164886, 44455, and 164886 would work to allow this mode to weld aluminum. Aluminum wire cannot be pushed through the standard-length welding gun and will cause bird nesting at the drive system. Aluminum MIG welding wire .030 and .035 can be used with the gun. We do not offer a foot pedal for the Klutch brand welders.

    2. A Klutch Spool Gun Kit would be required to weld aluminum (see below). Aluminum wire cannot be pushed through the standard length welding gun and will cause bird nesting at the drive system.   4. how thick of steel can it mig weld with gas?

    1. The MIG 0.030 nozzle included will weld between 22 gauge and 14 gauge steel.

  5. Does this welder use 6010 and 7018 stick rods?

    1. The welder will not work with 6010 stick rods. This model is compatible with E6013, E7014, and E7018, stainless steel stick rods. The compatible electrode diameter is 1/16ʺ to 3/32ʺ.

  6. Can you mig with and without gas

    1. Welding with MIG wire does require shielding gas. Welding with flux core wire does not require shielding gas.
