    1. It is recommended to clean the sand out after every use to prevent build up, caking or clumping and corrosion.

    1. This unit is not recommended to be used with clumped material. It does feature an upper agitator to help the flow of the spreading material, but not for breaking up clumps.

  7. I have a limited (height) cat 1 3 pt. hitch. How high does bottom of unit off the ground need to be for a spread of 8'

    1. The King Kutter XB mini spreader would need to be approximately 15"-17" from the ground on a category 1 tractor. You would not be able to achieve an 8' spread. Depending on the material you are spreading, you will probably get about a 4' spread.
