The Dual Heat 7500W Electric Garage Heater is the ideal heating solution for your garage, warehouse, or workshop. This unit includes multiple heat and timer settings as well as a 'fan only' setting, all easily operated by remote control and displayed on the digital button control panel. The heater provides 17, 060 and 25, 590 BTUs while efficiently heating areas up 750 sq. ft. To ensure safety this heater was designed with overheat protection and a caution indicator light.

  1. Will this heater run safely at 208v without any issues, I know the wattage/btu will be reduced?

    1. The heater is able to be wired 208/240 volt with a 40 amp breaker.

  2. Does this require 8/2 or 8/3 ?

    1. The heater will require a minimum of 10/3 wire. There will be a black, white and green wire. Wiring instructions are included in the manual.

  3. Can this be used in a wood shop with airborne saw dust?

    1. It is not recommended to install an electric heater in a wood shop with airborne dust, as it would pose to be a fire risk.

  5. The instructions do not specify the gauge of wire required. I assume 8AWG stranded. Can you please confirm?

    1. The heater will require a minimum of 10 AWG wire. For the external thermostat you would use 22 AWG wire.

  7. What does Fan only mean and does the unit cut off after it reaches temp that was set to

    1. The fan would cycle on and off when the heat comes on or goes off. The fan only setting will run the fan continuously circulating air with out actually turning on the heating element.

    1. The heater conforms to UL STD 2021. It is certified to CSA STD C22.2 NO.46.

  9. What type of external thermostat can be used with this heater?

    1. The heater is compatible with a 240V line voltage double pole wall thermostat. It is recommended to be installed by a certified electrician.

  10. What clearances are required on the back and sides ?

    1. The minimum clearance from the back of the heater will be 7 3/8". The minimum clearance to the wall will be 13". The minimum clearance from the ceiling when not using the mounting brackets will be 1 5/8". Minimum clearance from the bottom of the heater to the floor will be 8 feet. Minimum distance from the front of the heater to any object is 24".
