  2. Does it restart automatically after a power outage or does it need to be reset?

    1. After a power outage, check the circuit breaker and reset it if tripped. Confirm that the thermostat and selection switch are set to ON, and do not operate the system if the red caution light is illuminated.

  3. is it ok to add supply ducting to this unit to spread the output air?

    1. It is not recommended to attach an air duct to the heater. The heater requires a minimum of 24 inch clearance from the front of the heater to any object.

  4. Can the heater be placed on a cement floor while running or does it have to be mounted overhead?

    1. This heater must be installed at least 8 feet above the floor.

    1. This heater does not include a power cord, it must be hardwired by a licensed electrician.

  8. what is the secret to remove the knockouts for access to power

    1. To connect the power supply, remove the screw from the front of the unit. Attach the cable connectors and slide the 10 gauge wire through the cable connector. All wiring must be carried out by a certified electrician. Connect the wire to the power block located at the base of the heater. Then turn on the power to the main service.

  9. does this require a neutral ( two phase wires and a white)??

    1. The heater will require two 240 volt wires and a ground. See page 8 of the product manual on our web.

  10. what external thermostat can be used for unit

    1. The heater would require a 240 volt line voltage double pole wall thermostat. We recommend to have it installed by a qualified electrician.
