Product Summary

The new JET 13 Benchtop Planer delivers dependable performance and efficient stock removal for everyday shop use. Its full 13in. planing capacity allows users to surface wide boards in a compact benchtop format. The three knife cutterhead is equipped with precision ground steel knives designed for aggressive material removal and consistent thicknessing across a variety of hardwoods and softwoods. Powered by a 2HP, 115 volt motor turning the cutterhead at 9,500 RPM, this planer provides strong cutting performance on standard household circuits. The rugged four post construction ensures stable head movement, while folding infeed and outfeed tables support longer workpieces. A depth stop preset enables quick, repeatable thickness settings, and dust port accept both 2-1/2in. and 4in. hoses for easy dust collection. A cast aluminum base helps reduce snipe, and the portable design with vertical storage capability makes it well suited for small shops and jobsite storage.
