    1. This pump needs to be turned on and off manually, it will not be done automatically.

  2. Can this you be operated if installed outdoors

    When my irrigation system was installed the company that did the work installed the unit outside and next to the house. It sits on a concrete slab so it really does not get much water on it or in it. I need to replace the unit that came with my home and am wondering if the manufacture of this unit warns against outdoor installation.

    1. The pump can be installed outside but would need a roof over it to protect the motor from the elements.
