    Is it ready to go or do I need to purchase anything else to get it started?

    1. The Ingersoll Rand type 30 reciprocating air compressor does not come with oil

    2. No it does not come with oil. It takes 2 quarts of SAE 30 non detergent oil.

    3. It has no oil in it and does not come with oil. The oil can be purchased at northern tools. I used SAE 30 non detergent oil.

    1. This Ingersoll Rand compressor does not include the premium package. Please see item #15920030 for a fully packaged IR compressor which includes a low oil level switch, after cooler and automatic tank drain.

    1. The total weight of the compressor is 620 pounds. The bare pump model 2475 weighs 150 pounds. The electric motor model 2301-60 weighs 85 pounds and tank only weighs 300 pounds.

  10. Hello. i am trying to find out for my electrician the minimum voltage to operate this press. usually they will say 208-230 on the metal plate, this one just says 230?  And is it true these compressors can tolerate 10% electricity level

    1. The voltage drop allowed is 10%. The lower the percentage of voltage drop the longer the electric motor will last.
