The IDEAL® Digital Multimeter (model 61-357) is designed for professionals who demand precision and reliability. Rated CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V, this auto-ranging, TRMS digital multimeter handles up to 10 Amps AC and DC current via the test leads in series with the load. It measures up to 1000V AC/DC, Lo Z (Low Impedance AC Voltage) to reduce the possibility of false readings due to ghost voltages, AC V, frequency, resistance up to 60M?, continuity, capacitance, and diodes, and even includes a K-Type thermocouple for temperature readings in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. Equipped with a non-contact voltage sensor, it detects voltage between 40V and 600V, ensuring safety and efficiency. The display offers both digital readouts and an analog bar graph, with a backlight for visibility in any environment. Audible tones and a red LED alert you to voltage above 30 volts, continuity, and NCV detection. For added convenience, the meter features two probe storage points and built-in holders, allowing for easy, one-handed operation. The hang strap mount lets you suspend the meter from various surfaces (Universal Magnetic Hanging Strap model UMHS-757 sold separately), while industrial-grade over-molding provides enhanced grip and 2 m drop protection. Additional features include HOLD, MIN/MAX, Relative, Range, and selectable Auto Power Off functions.
