  1. How noisy is this unit?

    1. This heater does not have a dB rating. It will be a quiet unit. The sound from the blower will not be loud as it is a low CFM fan and only intended to gently move air around the room.

    2. Just put in a 15,000 BTU unit with blower. It is very quiet.

  2. How far from the side walls can this unit be installed?

    1. The minimum clearance from combustibles will be 36" from the top of the heater, 6 inches from the sides of the heater and 4" from the bottom of the heater.

  3. Can this unit be direct vented into chimney

    1. This wall furnace model is designed for direct venting through a wall. Only venting components approved for This furnaces may be used. This unit is to be installed on a wall from 4-1/2in to 12in (114.3mm to 304.8mm) thick. The wall vent tube system this heater uses is designed to allow for both air intake and exhaust venting.

  5. Can the venting be done up the wall to a window 9 feet above the area where heater will be? or must it go out the wall behind the heater. This exterior of the building is brick.

    1. This heater does have to be mounted on an exterior wall and vent directly behind the heater. It does not have an option for venting above the heater.
