    1. The engine shaft is not tapered. The engine will have a straight shaft with a tapped end.

  2. What is the difference between item 601105 and item 601099

    1. Both mufflers attach the same way. The exhaust output is on opposite sides. Item #601105 has an exhaust output on the left/starter side of the engine. Item #601099 has an exhaust output on the right/oil filter side of the engine.
