    I need a straight 1" Shaft with 1/4" keyway, and thrd. inside. but it says it's a tapper shaft, tapper shafts don't use a key way., I confused.

  6. Will this motor fit the same, identical bolt pattern of my GX240 that died a sad death?  The bolt pattern on the GX240 was not square.  Say, 3 + inches between the top bolts, 5+ “ between the bottom bolts.

    1. This model has a 5" and a 6.5" bolt circle. This should match older Honda models.

    1. This Honda engine is recoil start, an electric start version is not currently available through Northern Tool & Equipment.

    1. The Q style shaft is a standard PTO shaft. It would not be threaded. The shaft is tapped with 7/16-20 thread.
