Product Summary

Handles a wide variety of industrial applications. All models have 1,725 RPM TEFC (totally enclosed, fan-cooled) motors, check valve, adjustable relief valve and 3,000 PSI pressure gauge. High-strength cast iron housing. DU® bearings. Filler screen, sight gauge and flexible coupling. Hardened and ground alloy steel gears and shafts. Pressure-balanced pumps provide up to 90% overall efficiency. Ideal for systems using low-viscosity fluids in high temps and high-duty cycle applications. Does not include manifold or interface.

  3. Is this unit continuous duty? If not, what is the duty cycle? I intend to use a flow divider to achieve .5 GPM with no load on a hydraulic motor. But for long periods of time, say 20-30 minutes. Is this possible?

    1. The AC power unit will have a 90% duty cycle.

  4. Current Draw

    What is the current draw (amps) of this unit when run on a 115V circuit?

    1. With no load, it will draw 9.4 amps. Under full load the draw is 19.2 amps. In "locked rotor" condition, the draw is 146 amps.

    I want to be sure that I can bring the pressure down to 100# with the valve on the unit.

    1. The lowest PSI you can set this hydraulic power unit for is 800. It has a range of 800 to 3300 and is preset at 2000 PSI.

    1. A four way three position solenoid valve could be mounted directly to this unit using a single station sub-plate. See the products shown below as an example.

  8. oil is included in the reservoir ?

    Hydraulic oil is included in the reservoir ?, if the answer is no, oil specifications please, Greetings

    1. This hydraulic power system doesn't include oil in the reservoir. A good quality automatic transmission fluid(ATF) is recommended. DEXRON-III ATF or an ISO 32 hydraulic fluid equivalent are the best types to use. Click the links below to view compatible fluids for use with this hydraulic power system.

  9. What is the minimum operating pressure?

    1. The relief valve is pre-set to 2000, which would be the maximum pressure. The minimum pressure would be 100 PSI. The minimum pressure would be in theory, the line pressure caused by the outlet conditions such as through a hose, valve, etc.

  10. Is this model a dual-action power unit (i.e. power in both directions)?

    1. This power unit can be coupled via suitable hydraulic lines to a wide range of operating mechanisms. They normally operate hydraulic cylinders, but can be used with any other hydraulic actuating device both single and dual acting.
