    1. Running the generator will not charge the unit's battery. The unit's 12V charger must be used to charge the battery; we do not recommend charging a battery for any longer than 48 hours at a time.

    What is the impact to the engine and generator head or other comonents - I see the covered plugs. The Powerhorse generator cannot be run exposed to elements.

    1. yes that is the reason we purchased this generator,beccaue of snow and no electric as soon as we get a little snow , we are always out of Electric, we have ours under a covered deck ,so it is protected by snow, sleet,rain.and wind

    2. Any of the portable generators can not be out in the elements such as rain or snow. The generators do need to be sheltered in an open area with air movement around the unit.
