  1. I have a mobile home in a mobile home park. How hard is it to hook up?

    1. We would recommend to set it up with at transfer switch and an inlet box connected to your circuit breaker box. We recommend professional installation. Once this is set up for the generator, you would just attach the generator power cord to the inlet box and generator and start the generator when it is needed.

    1. When using natural gas, the peak wattage is 10,000 watts and the running wattage is 8500 watts.

  4. Can the DuroMax XP13000HXT Tri-Fuel Generator receive a signal from a transfer switch for Generator auto Gen Start / Gen Stop.

    1. The generator will work with a manual transfer switch. You will need to manually push the button on the generator to start. It will not start automatically with the transfer switch.

    1. The generator would require between 6-9" WC (water column). It must maintain 225,000 BTU's per hour.

  7. What size gas hose and fitting is required?

    1. This generator will include a 3/8" propane hose with regulator that includes an Acme nut on the regulator (tank) end and a quick connect fitting to connect to the generator. It will also include a 3/4" natural gas line with quick connect fittings (both ends).

    1. The manufacturer does not have a runtime rating for a 100 pound propane tank. Runtime on a 40 pound tank is 6.5 hours.

    1. A non-inverter generator that has a rating of 5% or less total harmonic distortion (THD) is safe to use on sensitive electronics. This generator would have a THD of between 10-12%.
