  1. Can  I run a XP 13000 Hx on a 20lb gas grill tank and can I use a 50ft   50amp cord to connect to the panel box

    1. The DuroMax generator can be run on a 20 propane tank. It would have a 50 amp outlet to connect a cord to it.

    1. The dimensions on the generator with out the wheel kit are 30" L x 29" W x 26" H.

  4. Is this a 3 wire or 4 wire unit for connecting to power cord

    1. This model has both a 3 wire connection for 30A and a 4 wire connection for the 240V 30A and 240V 50A outlets.

    1. The generator has a runtime of 13 hours at 25% load and 6.5 hours at 50% with a 40-lb propane tank.

    1. This generator will run on gasoline or propane only. It will not run on natural gas.

  8. is a non-inverter model acceptable if an inlet plug is tied directly into the electrical panel that has a whole house surge protector connected?

    1. The generator would still produce dirty power even if it goes into a whole house surge protector. This generator produces a THD between 10-12% so any sensitive electronics that are connected to those circuits would be at risk.

    1. This generator does not include a power cord.

  10. I am looking for a propane fuel filter, What would Duromax recommend and what size is the fitting. 9/16 ?

    1. The propane line would be 3/8” for size. It is not recommend to put a filter or fuel gauge inline with the propane hose going to the generator. Doing so can obstruct propane going through the line and either prevent the generator from starting or cause it to shut down when running.
