    1. It is not recommended to use this pump for motor oil. If used for motor oil it would pump at a slower rate due to viscosity of the oil and could gum up in the insides of the pump.

  5. Can you swap this pump back and forth on the gas and diesel containers?  How much residue is left in the pump?

    1. This pump can be used for gas and diesel containers. Reverse the pump counter clockwise and get as much residual fuel out as possible. Wait a couple of days before switching between the two fluids.

    1. If the handle is turned clockwise it will pump; if the handle is turned counterclockwise it will siphon.
