The Everflo 12V On-Demand 1.0 GPM Diaphragm Pump is a dependable solution for fluid transfer, combining performance, durability, and efficiency. Pump Features: With an on-demand design, the EF1000 delivers up to 1.0 GPM at 40 PSI while drawing only 4 amps, making it compatible with 12V systems. Key components include a Honeywell MICRO SWITCH™ for quick starts, a durable Santoprene™ diaphragm, Viton® valves, and a fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene manifold for chemical resistance. Self-priming up to 4ft. and capable of handling fluid temperatures up to 140°F, this pump is versatile and easy to install with its standard mounting pattern, rubber feet, and 3/8” hose barb connections. Features like an inline fuse, a two-pin SAE connector, and automatic shut-off add safety and convenience. The EF1000 is CE-approved, supports continuous operation without cool-down, and works with Master Mfg® and other sprayer brands. It’s also compatible with Round-Up® and other agricultural chemicals.   2. how to prim a new pump

    1 answer

    1. To prime the pump you would need to force the water through the inlet to expel any trapped air in the pump and suction line. You would use a garden hose to push the water into the pump until it starts pumping on its own.
