  1. Can this be used with salt water ?

    Want to hit my backyard with salt water to kill vegetation (to start a new lawn after a year). Will this work ? Thanks.

    1. Sure you can use it with salt water. Just be sure to run about 2-5gal. buckets of plain water thru it when your done with the salt water. I would not let salt water sit in pump for any length of time.

    2. This pump is compatible with salt water. It's recommended to flush the pump with water afterwards.

  2. Does this pump have instant pressure when a valve is turned on or does it have a lag time while it builds up the pressure?

    I have a pump now that when I first pull the trigger on my hand gun or turn on the booms it takes about a second or 2 to build the pressure back up. I do not want another pump like that. I want it to be instant pressure like most of the smaller pumps.

    1. This pump will give you instant pressure IF you have no leaks in your system. The pump will shut off when the booms are pressurized and turned off. They should stay pressurized until you pull the switch again unless you have leaks in the system.

    2. This pump, once primed, will have no lag time. The pump will cycle on and off as needed to maintain system pressure and keep lines primed for on-demand use.

  4. Can this pump handle light slurry mixes?? If so, how does it stand up to abraive slurry's??

    1. No. This would ruin this pump rather quickly. You need a diaphragm pump that states it can specifically handle slurry mixes.

    2. This pump is recommended for use in spraying non-flammable liquids such as pesticides, water for plants/trees or dust control, or water-based non-flammable sealants or stains for outdoor wood surfaces. It is not designed for a slurry mix.

    1. This is a 12 Volt, 23 Amp pump. This is designed to connect to a 12 Volt battery. For 12 Volt connection, the wattage is 276 watts.

    1. This pump is designed for broadcast and spot spraying applications. It is not recommended for soft washing roofs due to the wide variety of roof washing cleaners and chemicals available.

    1. The 55-gallon tow behind sprayer item 282727, shown below, uses a 4-roller pump that is driven by a Honda engine. This diaphragm sprayer is like the pump used on the tow behind 101-gallon sprayer item 282592 shown below.
