Does the stove have an emergency battery backup should there be a power outage? This is the reason why I am looking into a wood pellet stove. Also, I am exchanging the propane gas heater, which I never use. Can I use the same chimeny vent system.
1 answer-
ProductExpert11· 4 years ago
The pellet stove does not come with a battery back up. Do not use type B gas vent pipe or galvanized pipe with this unit.

How do you reset the stove
1 answer-
ProductExpert11· 4 years ago
To Reboot the control board on a unit which has a side mounted control board do so in the
following order.
1. Unplug the power cord if plugged in then plug back in, then Quickly (within 5 seconds)
simultaneously Press and Release the three bottom buttons on the touchpad. The
control board will light up the display with “F-S” then it should (but doesn’t always)
revert to display “1-1”
2. Allow the board to go completely blank then unplug the unit again.
The next step will be to reprogram the profile for the board, refer to the attached chart
for the specific profile you should be using for the model you are working on.
3. To reset the profile, plug the power cord in and Quickly press the Blower Speed UP and
DOWN arrows (2 fingers) simultaneously and Release. When you release you will see
the default profile displayed in the Heat Range display. (This will be either a letter A or a
number 3 depending on which board we are working with) this will only be displayed for
about 5 seconds, then it will revert to the heat range and blower speed settings to
change the profile setting use the Heat range up or down arrow whilst the profile is
displayed to change to the required profile for the model of stove in question. Once set,
the board will revert to its heat and blower settings.
4. At this time the lower three trim settings should be checked and set to their proper
settings, to do so press each button in turn the setting will appear in the Blower Speed
display, to adjust use the blower speed controls if the board profile is a letter, (A,B,C,D,).
If the board Profile is a number, (1 through 9) you must push BOTH up arrows together
to go up, or both down arrows to go down. See attached chart for proper presets for each model stove.Helpful?
